Cambridge exams
Two or three times a year (depending on the location) the University of Cambridge and The British Council jointly organise internationally recognised English language examinations. Here in The Netherlands, examinations take place over two days at centres in Den Haag, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Groningen and Rotterdam.
The examinations test all of the language skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing.
CBE offers certified, expert training for these examinations.
This school works with the CEFR-standard (C1?). To learn more about the CEFR, please follow this link.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
This is an alternative to the TOEFL test. This examination is becoming more popular every year as more and more institutes, colleges and universities both in The Netherlands and worldwide accept it as an entrance requirement for non-native-speakers of English.
This examination can be taken only in Amsterdam, but is available up to three times every month. It is also the required examination for people wishing to emigrate to Australia or New Zealand.
